Somewhat depends on the specific variety. In most cases they are determinate like Micro Tom and will die off but I have read about a couple of varieties that are "supposedly" indeterminate. Can't recall the names off-hand but you can look up the specific variety to find out which it is.

So micro toms are not special or something?

Special how? Other than that they are very small plants and bred for small container growing? No. Nothing else is special or different about them from any other determinate.

Their niche in the gardening world is for those folks who don't have the space to grow regular tomato plants or who just want a cute decorative plant that grows tomatoes.

Thanks alot dave! i will try sweat and neat tomatoes they are determinate but they say they produce like an indeterminate so that's next! :)
