Need a suggestion for a bathtub!

I'm looking for a bathtub for our new house. Here are the criteria it must meet: (1) 60"x30"x18"(deep). (2) must be good for bathing kids (3) must be sturdy and good quality, but not too expensive (4) preferably alcove with a simple front (apron?), but would consider drop in with wainscoting on front. I would love to buy a Kohler tub since my contractor gets a great discount on them...but have heard mixed reviews. Suggestions?? Thanks!

I bought my tub at Porcelanosa, on their thanksgiving sale. I love it. It's the dimensions you want.

Kohler cast iron tubs are great in my opinion but they don't come in your dimensions. This Mirabelle acrylic might be something you could use but it is 20" depth. Of course that wont be the water depth. Height to overflow is 16.5". KevenMP who used to post got one of these for his remodel and liked it. Check reviews online.
