in store and in person, but for wallpaper i do seach online first, you can work through a LOT of wallpaper in seconds, track down the books at the local wallcovering store for color confirmation.

I agree with the first commenter. In the age of online shopping, it cannot replace brick-and-mortar and seeing the product in person. You can feel and test the product to get the idea of how it looks in relation to space.

Also delivery time when buying online when you need something in a rush.
