An ABB Thank you Reveal

Hi All -

Our Reno has been complete for a few months, except for the back splash. I would have posted earlier, except our kitchen is never this clean.

I don't post often, but the amount of information and inspiration I received on this forum is / was invaluable.

A sincere thank you to all that post and reply and help us turn kitchen dreams into a reality!A non typical kitchen for sure, hope you enjoy!

Oh and for those who have been on since before the merger, there is an "ode to gardenweb" as well.

You have an awesome kitchen. Beautiful choices. Enjoy. LOL at the towel pig -- looks like a Costco one (run)?

Beautiful space! I'm loving the towel pig, a necessary accessory in an GW kitchen! :)

Gorgeous. What is the white countertop? Marble? Also think your light choices are fun!

So pretty! I like the style and colors of your cabinets. Also, the symmetry of the range run with the flanking cabinets to the counter is very appealing. Enjoy!

I saw the "before" and thought that it wasn't too bad, but then I saw the first "after" picture, and just smiled. Its quite nice. Congratulations.

    Super job! Neat hood!!!

that really lightened your space up! I was scrolling down and thought I saw something that might just be a pig (little dark w/blk on the dark cab). I squinted, sure it was... scrolled down and yep 'towel pig'! I think I also saw another nod to gw looking off to the left behind your cute prep sink - a bit of fluff on the floor? I saved the pic, pulled it in and lightened it up and - it's a bit blurry but I do think your kitchen supervisor was on the job admiring the new surroundings!

how do you like working in it with the new LO, larger island etc? does the prep sink help with the flow and ease of prepping for you?

devonfield - This is no cookie cutter kitchen, terrific job! Are those Tech Lighting kable lights and do I see refrigerator box latches on your uppers? Love the hood, countertop and lines of island base. I'll be glad to help photoshop some tile choices if you choose to go that way for a backsplash.

Very, very cool kitchen. I can't get over the hood stack - was it your own inspiration? "Four butts" - now that's a kitchen at work. I can't wait to see what you pick for a backsplash.

Sam looks very regal. The little guy is the boss?

romy718, thank you! The hood stack was really an exercise in problem solving. I knew I wanted the range on that wall and we obviously had to exhaust the fan. Plus the ceilings are vaulted so there was a ton of wall space in the original kitchen that needed to be taken up, plus I really wanted to use barn wood some where so I am sure some late night trolling houzz or gardenweb the idea to have a barnwood wrapped range hood came to me.

Oh and everybody LOVES Sam, if you don't know Danes they are the coolest dogs. And, yes the little guy really is the boss.

That hood is absolutely stunning!!! And the marble on your island is beautiful. Good job on finding that slab.

And Sam, well Sam and the supervisor will both have to take their place among those pets who match the kitchen.

Love Sam and his boss. Oh, and the hood; so very creative. Your whole kitchen is lovely. Towel pig!!! :)
