I think it is absolutely gorgeous. Elaine's got it--if you love it, buy it! Who's going to see it but you and your S.O. anyway? :-) I know, though, I redecorated my bedroom and was on here asking about every little detail....

If you look at the entire vignette with the chandelier, accessories, bed coverings, etc., you'll see that the bed has what I would refer to as a "Hollywood Glam" type of look. It's very popular now and definitely makes a certain statement. If that's the type of look and style that appeals to you, then it will definitely work for you. Good luck with your project!

What does it matter if it is "old fashioned"? They only things that matter are that you love it and that it meshes with your style.
