Need help identifying sillcock valve manufacturer / model

I want to replace the stem of a frost-free (sillcock) valve; it appears
to be 6in. I don't want to replace the whole thing, as it is in a
difficult-to-access place. The valve was installed about 15 yrs ago; I
could not identify it by searching google images. The far end of the
stem is not round; it appears vaguely triangular.

I could not find any markings anywhere on the stem; the body of the
valve has the UPC mark and characters L.T. above. The backflow protector
is B.K. / Mueller, but I am not sure the rest is by Mueller as their
sillcock stems (that I could find pictures of) look different.

Any advice on who might be the manufacturer of the valve would be much appreciated.

I know this is 4yrs late, but that looks like an older 1980's BK Mueller model based on the stem. Google for BK Mueller 888-185 and you should find a place selling the stem. Hope that helps

UPC in this case is referring to brand,notice the circled R beside the marks. Take the pics along with stem to your local hardware or plumbing supply. Be forewarned that the seat might be damaged and are not replacable in frostproofs.

It seams odd they cast that shield and trade mark but overlook their brand name. Is it inonvenuet going from indoors? It often is due to hydrant coming from beneath a vanity or bath tub.

Thanks, that helps me out! Was wondering what brand my cracked one is. Turns out it's a 12" BK (888-188) that needs replaced.

WOW, I had the same question here in the year 2021 and this is what I have! I have the 888-188, it looks like. They can still be purchased at locke plumbing. The brass threads are cracked in the same place your are. Thanks for the photos.
