HI -- I like the lamp and the Buddha ... no pictures ... maybe an Asian style screen or a potted real plant like a parlor palm or fig tree . Or leave it the way it is and that is fine too . I think adding some drape panels with and beside the windows so they cover the empty wall space is what you really need .
