Hello,

Need a little advice on siding selection. The original plan for the front of our house
was to use stained shiplap around the front door. We’ve been waiting to see the rest of the
siding painted before deciding on the stain color so no work has been done
around the front door. Now that it’s
painted we’re thinking it may look better if we used stone instead. I don’t have a picture of the stone we have
but I can post some later on if it really matters. We’ve got a lot of stone that we removed from
this project that we were going to use to build a new path from the drive
way. There's more than enough to fill
the void on the wall and still do the path with pieces to spare.

Just kind of looking for a general consensus, shiplap or
stone?

Please ignore the mess in my yard, the landscape is the very last thing on the to do list.
