Hello everyone,

I have been growing a noni fruit (morinda citrifolia) plant for ~ 1.5 years. The plant is seemingly healthy and is even forming multiple fruits.

However, no matter what I do, the lower leaves on the plant seem to gradually but consistently turn yellow and then fall off as new green leaves form at the top of the plant. As a result, the overall plant is quickly developing an unbalanced palm-like appearance. Please see attached pictures

I have tried watering more and watering less, but the problem persists.

Does anyone have any recommendations or ideas? Is it a watering issue? A fertilizer issue? Should I have the plant in a bigger pot?
