Question About A Spoiled AV

Hi all, I was out of town for the past week and had my husband watering my violets. He's pretty bad with plants. I have to leave exact instructions about watering, such as water the pink one on Tuesday, the red one on Thursday, etc. I water top down as I have had zero success with wick watering and just tried the Optimara Watermaid which also failed. to make things easier for him I bagged three standard violets in two gallon zip lock plastic bags. They all looked great when I came back except one. I took them out of their bags after being enclosed for a week and now six hours later one has droopy leaves. It's odd! It does not need water and it looked ok prior to removal from the bag. Why would a decrease in humidity cause this? I put it back in the bag and plan on slowly introducing the room air tomorrow. Or should I just let it tough it out in the ambient air?
