Help with pool depth

We are first time pool owners (after many years of dreaming) and working on nailing down our design, depth, etc. We're working with a great company has been very helpful, but I always value the forum feedback here.

We are going to install a slide eventually, but no diving board (DW safety concern). We don't have young kids in the house, but will have young guests at parties. Our DD is entering her teen years and will have her friends over often. We've spent a lot of time observing kids (and adults) at other pool parties and they spend a lot of time jumping in the deep end, cannonballs, etc... Finally, we are in MN and have a fairly short swimming season.

The plan is for an 18'x36' pool that goes from 3 feet gradually to 5 and then drops to 6 in the deep end. Five feet just felt a little shallow for jumping in and I thought six might be a little safer/more comfortable.

Would love to hear feedback on our initial design and especially the depth.

Thanks!
