The red door with the navy and the white trim makes it look very patriotic (if you are in the U.S.). I am not sure if that is good or bad from your perspective.

Not in the US and I agree with the patritoc look, not sure I really like it though...

Here are some quick ideas...

I like the boldness of the blue much better than the grey option. Adding a bluestone porch and walkway would look well, as would adding some black house numbers and larger lights, to match that boldness. Keep your lines strong, both in hardscape and plant choices

This picture that you did on photoshop with the grey is great! The only thing I'd suggest is maybe a new color on the door that sets off the grey a little more. For some reason blue is my first thought. Then, all you need is some landscaping. It's so surprising how far a little landscaping goes!

I think the blue with the red door looks great. Red, white and blue are classic colors. Besides, you could be patriotic for French, Russian, Norwegian, Cuba, Sierra Leone, Australia, Cape Verde, Croatia, Laos, Malyasia, Serbia, New Zealand, Samoa, Taiwan and Thailand!

I don't think anyone is going to think America, unless you fly our flag.

HI -- I don't mind the navy but I think a smoky charcoal or a lighter grey and or a slight grey white would have been better . I love the door color so keep that . What bothers me more than anything are the windows . They look too small and are the wrong style . windows that are bigger and more modern in style . For the landscaping , do something more tailored as such examples shown on Mid century modern sites and there is a photo on my ideabook of a front walk idea .
