No puddling sheers...soooo not current. Yes, move love seat...it is somehow dwarfed by the large wide window.....for you it would be better if window started lower. Could you float love seat? Where is TV? Could you provide more and lighter pics? What is your view? And, as above, what is at top of window? Blinds?

I would open up the curtains....looks like you have blinds already and the sheers on each side would look nice. I like your small love seat but think it is too small. If we could see the rest of the room, maybe we could sort of "rearrange" for you. Is that a sectional? Maybe it could be in front of the window. Or maybe you would be better off with an easy chair and floor lamp in front of the window. It would allow more light in.

thank you all for kind replies. Here there are some more pics of the room: living and kitchen in one room. the big sofa in on the left and the tv on the right. Over the windows there are the blinds. I have no other place for the love seat, but i could give it away: i've just bought and renewed the house and so its presence is temporary.

If your blinds are used for privacy, I would replace the sheers with two lined panels left open at either end of the window. If you are able, I would consider replacing the love seat with two armchairs with a small table between them for extra seating.

I agree, don't do shorter drapery. Also I would let the loveseat go to another home and get two chairs that compliment the sectional.

too bad noone told the stores about the puddling drapes.
