Those are built-in cabinets or shelves.

What if you moved your master bed entry to that space between the closet and bathroom? Seems like it'd be a pain to get to where it is located now, having to walk around the dining room table each time.

Also, I don't understand the kitchen area....is that space across from the peninsula going to have a table?

I like the little dressing area in the master bedroom so I don't know that I would move the entry there. I might get rid off the closet door in the master bedroom. Otherwise you will have to shut yourself in there to get at some of the clothes and you can't see into the closet as it is from anywhere but the bathroom. You could also put a curtain there if you decide you need something.

Is there a reason to have a door leading into the hallway where the 2 bedrooms and additional bath are? Seems like a lot of doors to me... Also, the kitchen is closed off - assuming though that's what you want. Like Michelle said, what will go across from the peninsula? Doorway into the master is where your dining table is... this means your door will either always be closed - or if it's open anyone eating will see straight into your bedroom. Kind of feels like your guest bedrooms have more privacy than your master - which seems opposite of what I, personally, would want. If you flipped the spaces at all - you could have the office off of the dining and living area - same with guest bedroom... then leave the laundry where it is and add the master and master bath over there. Master would then be closer to kitchen and laundry and would be more private and away from the dining and living room. I didn't follow your other threads so I apologize if this stuff was already covered. Just shootin' off the hip with my thoughts :-)

Hi. I would say that the "hall" in front of the kitchen is huge. For your size house, its a bit too big. It may not seem so on the plan (kinda does) but once its built you will have all this open wasted space. You have a 4x16 hallway. I'm not an architect so unfortunately, I can see the issue but I have no clue how you would solve it.. sorry :-(. I know when our architect was drawing out our house, he said it was his mission to have as few halls a possible because our house size (3700 sq ft) didn't call for it.

I also agree with what was said previously about the door to the hallway leading to the other bedrooms. Its not needed.

Is there a reason the kitchen is just sort of floating in the middle of the house with the huge amount of wasted space behind the peninsula? I would suggest you continue to work on the right side of the house. Start by moving the kitchen back to the wall of windows. The long wall of cabinets could also be switched to the right side with a wall, and then use an island instead of the another wall of cabinets or something. I think there are better options that will take advantage of the windows and natural light in the kitchen.
