I bought this style sofa. Truth is they delivered wrong sofas originally. The other was more of a white linen so now this sofa looks more yellow to me and my ideas went with the white linen color. Now I'm drawing a blank. Any help is greatly appreciated.

The windows and open floor plan are great! It may be the picture but I think the green/mustard rug is taking away from the modern look you say you are going for and causing your sofas to look more yellow. I would try a more neutral rug color or even go for a very dark blue there. In the picture it also looks like green/yellow is an accent color on the ceiling and walls. White, mild grey, or light blue would give a more modern look. Also the chair/fabric could be changed to create a more modern look. New accent pillows on the sofas should go with a different rug and chair/fabric.
