Patio and pergola

I love your project, we just finished a bluestone patio ourselves this summer and are building the pergola this fall. Our footprint is 15x36, similar to yours. I like your proportions and am wondering how tall your pergola is, and is it sloped from the house (more than the slope of the patio)?

    The height to the bottom of the beams is 8'6". The the underside of the trellis members is 9'-6". The trellis is not sloped as it is all open (no solid cover). Gina Moffitt, AIA
