I looked into using Rundum Meir doors based on a Boston architect's design for an Austin TX project back in 2010. At that time they were represented by Architectural Sales, Inc in Houston (281.362.0500). We ultimately did not use the product because the manufacturer was having problems getting UL certification for US applications, chiefly due to pinch point issues at the door jamb, as I recall. Too bad because I like the idea, they are unique and I really wanted to use them. I do not know if Architectural Sales is still involved with Rundum Meir, give them a call. As I recall, the 2010 price for the doors I was looking at was well north of $100k so...

I heard wind of a possible recent project that was specifying Rundum Meir so they may have gotten their UL problems resolved.

Another manufacturer making "round the corner" doors is Crown-Industrial in San Francisco. Their product is more commercial/industrial oriented. We used their operators for a set of swinging garage doors on a windy site involving very expensive vehicles (did not want to pay for bent aluminum). The C-I guys are great. Very knowledgeable and service oriented.
