Given that it's still 100 outside at this moment, things are still happening here.

BUT -- my thrill is gone. Haha. I look at my 7-8 foot tomatoes all leaning over due to crappy cages I used this year and plucking off sunscalded tomatoes or ugly ones with catfacing, and find that I look at that part of my yard, YEARNING to pull the plants out.

I've harvested about 20-25 total from Black Krim and Cherokee Purple. I like the taste of both, though they taste quite similar to me right now. None were perfect looking so I only ate the good looking parts.

But I am burnt out on edibles now. Just keeping up with the peppers is enough and I am tired of this incessant heat and weird humidity!

Me, too, Vince! Come Thanksgiving, it'll start to get itchy again and I'll be complaining spring is not here. But right now? Pssssh....to hell with it all. 100*, my central air gave out and I look Indonesian. Y'all men don't realize what a nuisance it is to put on light makeup over toasted brown skin. Lol

for you in the northern hemisphere it is, but for us down south its just about to get cracking :)

Yeah, for you in the southern hemi today is the start of spring. Strangely the day and night are roughly equal both here in the north and there in the south. But as of tomorrow we will be going in opposite directions

For at least 5 months ( March 2016) the thrill will be gone away, when and if I start sowing the seeds of hope and thrill again.

5 months !!! feels like an eternity ...
