Dear houzz community,

My boyfriend and I recently purchased our very first home and we're extremely excited but intimidated about the designing process. We love the modern/contemporary style but neither of us have any experience with interior design and we'd LOVE any guidance or suggestions.

We're thinking of putting up sliding glass doors to divide up the bedroom without making our 1,000 square feet condo feeling cramped. We love ideas like having a TV come out of an entertainment unit using a motorized TV lift and other innovative ideas to save space.
