I'm in the process of moving into my first home and I'm having trouble in picking out a paint color for my kitchen and living room. The thing is the kitchen and living room share a common wall, patio door in between. In the kitchen the counter tops are dark brown granite, cabinets are medium wood and appliances are black with ceramic tile. The living room has beige carpet and our couches are a light beige with pin stripe. In my head I can't decide on a color to paint either or both spaces without it looking tacky.
