Peaches, absolutely! A lot of hand me downs, or early marriage as I like to call it, can be beautified and modernized with a can of paint. A homemade house is so much more interesting and welcoming than a designed on purpose house. My hubby is a wonderful amateur photographer, and our living room walls have his photos all over them. We bought frames from Michael's and we made our own mats. I love looking at them and they've been up for years!
