I think it would be pretty, and a relief. So many people are over the job of maintaining stainless. I would rather be living life, as my daughter has told me. She talked me into purchasing Slate just a couple of weeks ago. I am beginning to like it. It's just a curve at first, but then you begin to embrace the freedom. :) I will be happy once I get my kitchen finished. Mine is a major job for I have let it go for near 23 years without a update, I was busy raising kids. Good luck with your choice.

I only posted this because I was on another slate appliance discussion 3 years ago (!) and I used slate in my two-tone kitchen. I love it!
