not a huge fan of them raw, not bad, but not great either... i am hoping for nuts/seed

mine dies back in the winter to a stump, and comes back in the spring...(although i have killed a couple of them) - its easily 10ft, but havent seen flower/seed yet...

Dropping leafs. Its not evergreen like a Mango or Avocado I guess. In spring its going in the ground. No hurry since its in a pot that could hold a 10' tree. Sales-lol. Bigger pot=bigger money.

@stanofh, Yes, you are right. Moringa is a deciduous tree. Leaves will first yellow and then drop in the cold weather or in a long dry season. As long as the roots don't freeze, when conditions are right again, the tree will come back even when you cut it down to the ground. Haha... I know what you mean. The pots aren't cheap!

Moringa is incredibly fun to grow though. Pictured below is an intensive cultivation I planted this spring. I planted close to 300 trees in that raised bed that was 16' x 4'. The growth was tremendous as you can see. The taller trees in the bed are over 12 feet tall and they were still growing when the picture was taken 1 month ago!

wow- Flowering too. I had no idea they could be grown so tightly. Has a bamboo like look.

Are you a farmer? Maybe for Farmers market? I know they sell high per leaf. It actually was my wife who spotted the tree for sale since she used it in her cooking. All I needed to know to buy it-ha.
