If you're planning on having a TV in the living room, placing the sofa on the long wall would probably work best. I would try a small sectional on the long wall; place the longer part of the sectional on the long wall, with the chaise on the window wall. You could then place a comfortable armchair in the corner diagonally across from the sofa. I suggest that you get a chair with casters, so that it can be moved to watch TV. Fewer furniture pieces look less cluttered and you have two doorways to consider. You want to have a clear traffic path to both of them. Good luck in your new condo!

Option A will give you the most seating and allows you to have views out the windows and TV viewing as well. Furniture scale will be important for traffic patterns in and out of the space. Have fun planning & congratulations!

I would suggest a loveseat or chair going along the wall there you have the two windows, an end table and lamp in the lower corner, and then a sofa going along the solid wall across the bottom of your diagram. On the inside wall that divides the living room from the kitchen, you might place a dining table against the wall and have it do double duty as a desk, with book/china shelves flanking the ends of the table. Then, you might turn the nook into a space for a second TV, should you like to watch TV while working in the kitchen. You might add a chair and small table to this "new" TV room or maybe a small patio table and two chairs to use the nook as a room for breakfast, coffee, or casual dining.
