It’s kinda hard without pictures but what about a pretty marble or quartz that’s white but has the charcoal marbling? That way it’s light and bright but still pulls in the charcoal color and adds pattern

I am updating my post to say "I did put in 2 sinks" and each day, when I use the bathroom, I dislike it. Every time I comment internally, "I hate the 2 sinks". It is such a small area, and not to have any room to put hair dryer, curling iron, make-up, etc. I have come to realize, for me/daughters, that counter space is a necessity in a "working bathroom". There are never 2 people in there at once brushing teeth/washing their face. The board, across the sink, still exists and it works perfect. I am only sorry that I put in two sinks as now, I live with a board. (big sad face)

With four kids sharing the same bathroom at those ages (mine are boys 21 & 12) I would think they value the privacy of the shower & toilet room which allows other kids to use the vanities. I think that set up is brilliant. Growing up all 4 of us kids and our parents shared and there was no privacy and lots of fighting! lol... I tend to think a vanity as long as possible (can it be 86"?) just so you have enough counter top and storage space for all their teenage stuff. I know your boys probably hate to shower now, but thankfully that does change!
