i like them and considered ordering them (from shades of light?) make sure you understand and like how the bulbs will show through the sides.

I really like the mercury glass and how the light will filter through, as well; their shape mimics the shape of the stools. I also like that they are a bit larger. Maybe have one or two people stand on stools and hold them up - so you can get a better visual, but also for the height they should be placed at.

If you like them. they should be great, but I agree with having someone or two someones to hold them up as a visual. I like them better than the builder grade. I might have gone with a color & something smaller. That is just my personal taste.

Thanks!! They do give off a warm yellowish/Amber glow that I think will look great with the fireplace. I love the open concept but then when it comes to decorating I get frustrated :-)

here's a pic of those lights we did. similar look instead of an led light or daytime like get the cozy warm light is what there called at like lowes or homedepot and it will give that yellowish light off

I say go for it! They will look beautiful in your kitchen. I love Mercury glass. We have a dimmer on our kitchen chandelier. When it is on low the light is a warm, cozy glow. The lights reflect off the ceiling in a beautiful kaleidoscope pattern.

I think that the mercury glass will look wonderful in your kitchen, however, the pendant that you are showing seems too large and I am not sure if it is complementary to your lovely kitchen.

Thanks!! I'll put them up today and post the pics!!

I love your lights, and purchased a smaller version of that exact light from Shades of Light for my bathroom! I would caution you though when cleaning mine on the inside pieces canes out of the paint. They were a clear glass painted to have the Mercury affect and now I have spots that show. I'm not at home to take a picture to show you, but be careful when cleaning!

Thanks!! Maybe just dry dusting them?

They look beautiful. I dust mine gently and carefully soak them in the sink with a tiny bit of Dawn and water and let them air dry. I don't soak them on a regular basis. Enjoy your new lights and beautiful kitchen!

Yes dry dusting or soaking like said above, but do not get vigorous with scrubbing!
