Hi All.. Completely redoing this kitchen. White Shaker cabinets being installed next week. We will have a 5x7 island where stove shown will be going with white marble top. The perimeter where sink is will be matte honed, black granite. Trying to figure out what the backsplash should be. Thinking white subway tiles, but may be bland.. Wondering about marble subway tiles, glass white, or just solid piece of marble?? Thoughts? Also wondering about pendant lighting above island.. Maybe it will be overkill, also thinking about no pendant lighting. ahhh.. decisions!
