What is the sofa filled with?

What is this sofa filled with and how does it withstand over time sitting and weight? Also is this a sofa that will scratch easily? If yes is there any option of coating it for less scratches?

    I have dogs that will jump on the sofa when I leave the home. Does it scratch easily? How can I erase the scratches?
