It is not a cedar but a cypress of some kind - the soccer ball shaped cones are indicative of that family. Where is the tree growing?

I never thought it was a cypress since it is very wide.

It grows in Portugal near the sea right next to a road.

Perhaps Cupressus lusitanica, commonly called......wait for it......Portugese Cypress!
