Cutting into fiberglass entry door

Is it possible to cut 1/8" into a flat panel fiberglass entry door for the purpose of scoring lines to resemble wood planking without destroying the door or compromising its energy-saving qualities? If it can be done, would a circular saw with a fine blade be used?

    The skin isn't much thicker,don't do it. Instead go with faux painting.
