Need help picking the right light fixture for dining room

(this is a repost, but this time with a picture!). I have a separate dining room with an antique mahogany dining room suite (sideboard, table, six chairs). I will be repainting the walls using BM Mte Sainte Anne (CC710). I am trying to update the look, so am hoping to stay away from too formal with the light fixture, but may have to given the formal antiques. Help!!

It's a bit pricey, but something like this would look nice. It's simple but would coordinate well with the antiques you have.

I lived Ina Victorian with antique furnishings and mixed some eclectic accents in. There are a lot of retro looks and newer spins on vintage--check out some great Art Deco inspired looks (eBay is a resource I used). Don't settle--I did I my race new home and now wish I had waited until I found something I loved. Be patient and investigate different styles.

What is your budget? I would search on "art deco", but that's just my feel for the room.
