How about a stained glass? Or how about only putting things in there you don't use often, like wine glasses and large serving items, things you collect, candy dishes, things like that. That way things aren't getting moved around a lot. Unless you actually do use those things a lot!

Hmmm, why two full sized sinks? If you want a prep sink, how about a smaller one over at then end of the L or in the island? With those two large sinks, it eats up a lot of prep space next to the stove.

We had a client insist on frosted glass and once it was installed the edge of the shelving that was so close to the glass showed through very clearly. It did not look very good. I would go with clear, but if you don't want that, a reeded glass seems to hide more than others. However, it is more modern looking and not traditional.

this is prob a kosher kitchen. if so, skip the glass altogether. its not a traditional style and you need the extra cabinets space for two sets of dishes.

Corrugated glass is traditional and could work in your new kitchen.

My last house had reeded glass panels in the upper cabinets. The glue they use to hold the glass in place failed over time and I had to re-glue them in. A big pain the the arse. The cabinets were higher end, solid wood and the wood door cabinets never had any problems. Plus no matter how 'tidy' I was the dishes always looked cluttery to me. I would go without the glass panels. More options, better built cabinets.
