I've been digging mine up for four years but it's gotten so big I could cut it for fire wood, I have severed a side shoot for bringing in this year. I'm in zone 6 if I cut it off at ground level and cover with a styrofoam cover and then a mountain of shredded leaves does anyone think it would survive the winter.
