I have a Super Sauce hybrid tomato that I accidentally knocked off while picking ripe ones 2 months ago. It was a really light green, on the verge of blushing. So, I put it on the counter figuring it would get ripe in a week or so. 2 months later it is finally red.

It still looks good, I'm going to slice it at lunch tomorrow and see how it it looks inside and how it tastes!

I have a lot of smaller green ones still on the vines that probably won't ripen before it gets too cold. I'll hang on until frost is predicted. The temps have dropped more than usual for the first day of Oct. so it may be soon!

This may be a good storage tomato? I will report back tomorrow after lunch!
