Do you have room to rotate the sofa so that it faces the fireplace? Then put a chair and end table on the window wall. Love your fireplace.

I'd like to see you rotate it also. If you can't, pull away from window and leave space as it is. This furniture is very imposing for this space but it still works. I'd keep any other touches to the room to a minimum!

Pull it away slightly and remove the brown blinds. Use the pretty drapery panels alone. If you must keep those blinds I would cover them with sheers.

Thank you all for the advice so far. The reason I initially bought that couch was because of the open floor plan of the home. With the 90 degree angle that has it sort of encloses the room. I will bring up the ideas of the wife about turning the couch around and see what she says. Here's another picture of the full room. I guess I could take the TV out and put it into our sitting room since that is pretty much a waste of space. But we're in the process of finding a new entertainment Center which it will make that part of the room look better.

Also, I'm sorry that I have to ask but what is a sheer?
