Put them in a shady area if possible and in the most inconspicuous place. Of course placement might be determined by where the furnace is located and where the HVAC people feel is the most efficient placement. To blend ours in we will put some type of bushes around it. Some people surround them with small fences, I personally don't like that, I think that draws more attention to it.
