Hmmmm. I like this but the balance seems off and is bothering me. Might you consider taking the left wall unit and modifying it to more closely resemble the chimney in width and height? Or at least height? And then if it's wider that's ok, but that being dark and the FP and chimney being light will further make it feel unbalanced. So if you want the dark cabinetry, consider a dark chimney (slate tiles?) Hope this helps -
