Azaleas slowly dying

I planted 10 azaleas last fall and 4 have since died and a few of the others are not looking well. The leaf edges turn brown then fall off and then the plant dies. I have tested the soil and it runs 6 to 7 so I know they need more acid and that I can fix. The main concern I have is the alkaline content of my well water and that is the only water source I have. I live in Texas and the rains are sporadic, either feast or famine. So I was wondering if I can water using Miracid to offset the alkaline content in the water and if so, how often. I need to water every 2 - 3 days. Any and all suggestions would be appreciated.
