Empty Wall Help

I have a blank wall that is between the door from our garage on the right (this is our main exit/entrance) and the other door is to our laundry room. I thought it would be a good idea to put a mirror on the wall. May be nice to get a full view to make sure we are in order before leaving the house. LOL My teenage daughter uses the reflection in the refrigerator.

But I'm not sure so I thought I would ask you guys. Here are pics of the space and pics of the mirror.

Mirror is lightweight, plastic like the inexpensive door type 17 in x 52.8

See pics-artwork or family collage or round mirrors hung vertically.

I have a set of three round mirrors but I think they may be too small. They are the ones we are seeing all over TJ Maxx/Target, similar to this

The mirror you have selected is lovely. Consider a shallow mirrored front cabinet to which you could put the storage therein to practical use.

It's had for me to get a sense of how big they are and I also think they are too light. If you had some color on the wall they might work.

I would also get a carpet runner the length of that area and remove the stool.

Oh the stool was just there to prop the mirror on for me to get a visual of how it might look. It's never there. The door from the garage would hit anything that wasn't flat on the floor or flat against the wall.

The mirror should be at least half the width of the wall...it looks a bit narrow.

a six foot wainscot would warm up the area, if it continued around all sides. It would also formalize it and bring a great first impression, since it is a main entrance. It could be bead board, or a craftsman style wainscot, w/ 3" rails over veneer.

The larger mirror is still a good idea however, for expanding the feel of the area, if it seems too small.
