Thanks for reaching out! Our hardwood products are made using plantation-grown hardwood (including rubberwood, mahogany, white birch, and Italian poplar) that leaves natural forests untouched. Using these types of hardwood has earned us a spot in the Sustainable Furnishings Council, an organization committed to encouraging the use of sustainable materias & practices within the home furnishings industry. We also use materials certified by the California Air Resources Board, which works to protect the public from air pollution and products that may emit harmful toxins.
