Thanks so much for your help to, but how do I nourish the aerial roots? Do I spray fertilizer or manually guide it onto dirt? I've always been confused how they get nourishment from wood...

What kind of foliar fertilizer is best for this?

Its like Vandas or Phal aerial roots. Don't worry about them. You can spritz fertilizer water on them if you want. Most orchids have those roots and they absorb moisture from the air. If the air is too day, they tend to head into the potting mix or ground.
