No. The nectar that bees take from plants to produce honey is primarily sugar. The poisonous compounds are present in the stems and branches of the plant. Also, even if there were minute amounts of poison in the nectar, the bees get their nectar from so many sources, that it would be very diluted. And, the volumes of honey that we eat would not contain adequate levels of any compounds from any one plant to make a difference. We don't worry about nectar from foxglove or datura or monkshood or oleander, and they are all highly poisonous. So, there are many reasons to not worry. Does that help?
