Was there a variety that surprised you in a positive way this year?

I mentioned Coyote cherry tomatoes in Margaret's thread on Ripe Tomatoes. (LINK)

This is my second year growing them. I was somewhat hesitant to decide if I liked them in 2014. Oh, I liked that they were healthy plants. But, the flavor - it seemed too different to jump into a decision. I wanted to have Coyote back. They are the sweetest non-hybrids I have ever grown!

In my post on Ripe Tomatoes, I noted that they ripened in early August. Oddly, the one Coyote volunteer I had in the garden had ripe fruit only 10 days later. Hey! Do you know how unusual it is for volunteer tomatoes to ripen in my garden ... in mid-August! It has never before happened!!

Here are days to maturity according to 3 seed companies. I think I will agree with Victory.
