Do you want to bring in any other colors? Right now you have a very monochromatic color scheme and I don't mind the light blue draperies, but you would need to bring in that color in accessories, accents, pillows, etc; to keep the monochromatic look.

Here's an option if you wanted to bring in another color for the draperies (or you could keep the light blue draperies and use the coral color for pillows or lamps.

Try switching out your pillows and adding a subtle dash of a third color: tab, blue and olive

I'd consider getting a large coffee table tray that is silver/ chrome and fill it with pretty stuff. That coffee table is pretty heavy/ masculine and great too. If you swap out curtains, perhaps a linen that matches sofa, although I like what you originally posted. The alternate blue curtains, not so much. Lastly the rug might be too dark, a bit of a black hole. If after all the changes I suggested, the room still reads dad, consider changing that out for something lighter.

The only navy blue furniture that I see is the rug and the 2 pillows, so using it on the windows would not be overkill. I think that the light blue curtains do not go with your current decor. That rug that miacometlady is showing would work, in your space, then use one of the pillows that she is showing.
