I would try using the fireplace as the focal point and where the red chair is, put the sofa there with a slim sofa table behind pushed an inch from window. Place 2 cream chairs directly across from it. Use the red chair against a wall or in a corner for a cozy reading spot with lamp if possible. Also if the cream chairs can changed to swivel chairs, then when someone wanted to watch tv they could just turn to do so. I would pull the rug to the center of floor in front of fireplace, this will get a better flow to your room. Take out all extra furniture that is not absolutely necessary.
