Need help deciding what to paint/stain on new garage/existing house

We are in the middle of adding a new garage, converting the existing one to living space and adding a front porch.

We originally planned to keep the house brown but decided to go with green (SW Orchard). Next problem was what to paint the trim. I originally thought cream but think I might like a darker color. And now that we see the new garage (cedar) sided, we can't bear to paint it.

We are considering a translucent stain on the garage but continuing to paint the rest of the house Orchard (was already painted so no choice). Even though the exterior material is the same, I'm thinking the garage is structurally different enough to carry off the difference in finish?

We haven't ordered the garage doors and can't decide what color they should be. The garage faces the street, and we will definitely be getting Clopay carriage doors. That seems to be the only thing we know for sure in this whole project!
