Where are you located, what is your soil pH like, how are the plants sited and watered? And most importantly, what kind of azaleas? Just not enough information..........

Some azaleas are semi-deciduous in the winter.

Many azaleas lose (at least in part) their leaves during winter....it's normal that colours in fall !!!

What is the area like as far as drainage goes?

They are all getting the same drainage, watering via a drip line.

Encore azaleas, ph is the same for all

Are they planted deep or shallow?

Is the drip watering system getting all of the rootball wet?

I would think a spray nozzle would work better than a drip.
