We are painting our open floor plan dining room and living room in Revere Pewter, which works beautifully for our dove gray couch and our darker wood dining room table. Those rooms also don't get as much light since their windows face north. Our living room/dining room skews more modern with West Elm furniture, but our kitchen is more "french country". We have antique yellow cabinets and a warm tiled backsplash. It also gets lots of sunlight. The Revere Pewter is pulling in very gray and cold ashy in the kitchen, instead of warm. Can anyone recommend a paint color that would look nice with the Revere Pewter and also tone down the yellow-ness of the kitchen so it looks a little more modern?
