I would think that any gables or portico would be quite pricey, and would be best accomplished with the help of an architect. If not, it could look like a wart.

Could the downspouts be relocated? They really stand out. Also, I always notice windows....and the way that the window treatments look from the outside. It appears that your large window have sheets or white garbage bags as coverings. I KNOW that they don't.....but that is what the treatments look like. You need pretty curtains at the windows.

The new planting beds and wall are very nice. I think that once you put in plants it will make a huge improvement on curb appeal. Don't forget to add height with some shrubs. A few trees in the yard would be pretty for years to come. Also, if the carport area was painted more of a taupe color to complement the brick, it might make the front appearance more uniform.
