Gasteraloe light levels?

This past summer I acquired a few Gasteraloes ('Green Ice', ' Gray Ghost', and 'Floe') and wondering how much light they really need. Do they take after Aloe or Gasteria ? I am trying to find suitable real estate for all my succulents which are now indoors for the winter. I've been giving them fairly direct sun outdoors all summer, but am hoping they can handle a little more shade. Thoughts?
